Hey, guess what? In keeping with the life-long trend of Nothing Ever Going The Way It’s Supposed To For Andria, I get to back to the hospital on Monday afternoon for some more surgery. A part of my incision was not healing correctly - the doctor said the skin “wasn’t viable”, so he’s going to cut it off and connect it with the healthy skin, and then he assures me that it will heal correctly. I only have to stay overnight, thankfully, and then I get to come home with a ton of anti-biotics, which is just awesome, because as soon as my body smells anti-biotics of any kind, I get a yeast infection (you’re welcome).

I guess I could get really pissed about this, but it’s not going to make anything better at this point. All I can do is trust my surgeon and blindly hope for the best.

Sometimes I wonder who I was in a previous life that things constantly go wrong for me. The only thing I can assume is that I was one of those people that beat Jesus on the cross, Hitler, or Joan Crawford.

Whatever.

One of the most annoying things about celebrity red-carpet interviews is when the moron with the mic asks whatever celebrity he/she’s interviewing to give advice to some other random celebrity going through some sort of turmoil and/or scandal. Then the person being interviewed will look into the camera and offer someone they probably don’t even know some stupid suggestion about the problem.

I saw a clip of someone interviewing Denise Richards, and asked her to give advice to (I think) Paris Hilton, and she said, “I’m not really one to give advice. I’m divorced and I ran off with my best friend’s husband. I don’t have any advice.”

Hahahahaha. I could almost like her for that.

Almost.

Wow. Don’t have too much fun you and your totally non-viable skin.

Non-viable skin? Is that like when the nurse told me the reason she couldn’t start an IV was because my skin was “tough”. I didn’t realize I had Hulk hands that were strong enough to withstand a surgical needle, you inept bitch. And what, no more pain meds? Bastards. An honest celebrity? What next, honest politicians?

That sucks about the non-viable skin. But it sounds like it’ll be quick. If it makes you feel any better I have really bad veins. In that it’s really hard to get blood. I’m in a research study and my doctor is supposed to draw blood every once in a while and she has given up. She told me if I’m ever in an emergency and they have to give me an iv, they’ll go through my neck. I was like aaahh nice. Also, I don’t really care either way with Denise, but that comment friggen rocks.

At least you didn’t have an Alien moment. That was my biggest fear when I had abdominal surgery. Perhaps if you get enough painkillers that yeast will just go on a nice trip.

Make them give you a prescription for Diflucan along with the antibiotics…most doctors will do that, because the infection problem is very common.

And I almost like Denise Richards for her comment, too.

I feel like sometimes too. Obviously, I kicked lots of puppies in another lifetime. And stole candy from babies.

As for Denise Richards, that’s a pretty redeeming comment… Makes her not quite such a waste of oxygen.

I hope all’s going well, and that you didn’t just take off with Denise Richards’ husband. Because honey, he’s totally not worth it. I know: I had him first. XO Violet
