Is Ike an outdoor cat? Is that why he keeps getting worms and mites? Damn cat is simulataneously awesome and an asshole.

Also, my mom’s cat is well over 20 pounds. He’s really active and runs around constantly and they regulate his food down to the morsel, but this poor cat cannot lose the weight at all.

Ike is my hero. How on earth does he get worms and ear mites being an indoor cat? Weird. Good thing it’s taken care of, though.

Last time we engaged in sedated grooming for Packet, she was ticked off and crapped all over herself when she woke up - then the vet techs were all weird about giving me something to clean her. Once home, however, it took all of 5 minutes for her to lick herself clean, realize that she could actually *lick* herself instead of spending 5 minutes just getting hair out of the way, then follow me around for hours as if to say, “Mommy! Look where I can lick! Look! Look, Mommy!”

The earmites? I have a much happier kitten now that his are gone, heh. And, I have a big-boned cat, too! Junior is a HUGE tabby, who looks like a beast, but he is only 14 pounds. You can feel his ribs the way you are supposed to, and everything. Hope Ike is feeling better…and your sock too!

I’d feel for you, I really would … if I wasn’t paying-off a $1,500 bill for having Sugar’s life saved after he first went into a tailspin depression when his beloved Jazz “disappeared”, then stopped eating, then his colon fully impacted with feces the density of BONE … x-rays, several enemas, two colon “milkings” under anaesthesia, several bad teeth extracted … oh, I’m sorry, it’s about dinner-time isn’t it?
