The closest I come to causing problems is explaining to my mother-in-law that, just because my nephew likes ponies and tap dancing better than cars (he's four) does NOT mean he is gay now, and even if he were, I'd lose more respect for her for loving him the less for it, than I would for him. She now thinks I am some kind of pinko liberal. I’m so disappointed I don’t have anyone like that in my family.
