Flash Player Not Working Windows 10

I have 4 accounts on each: 3 are administrator accounts, and one is a built in Guest account. So it started out as an admin account. But then I go back and the message appears again that I need adobe flash player!!!

  1. When I go to the Adobe site and test the plugin, it says it works but the web sites still don't work.
  2. The install procedure is simple, but sometimes Flash Player may not install and work correctly.
  3. I fired it up and guess what no flash player, couldn't install it, IE wouldn't run it.
  4. Otherwise, reinstall OS X.*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.

  10. Thank you so much!

Applications like Spywarebaster and Freesurfer are known to block Flash Player. No flash for one user. On the same token, I have always frowned on and refused to set a user account up as an Admin account. I took a look again at what Pfirsisch said.

What I don't understandis why MSFT cannot issue one of their many KB's and explain in plain English how to take care of this issue. Adobe Flash Player This is a fact that is understood, since only an Administrator or a user that has been given Administrative Privileges have the permission required...". You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.Step 3If you get a warning of a "blocked" or "outdated" plug-in, then from the her latest blog I have two administrator accounts on my home computer, Mine and My Wife's.

This dialog should result: Click on Custom Level…. So each time I visit a new site that uses Flash, I get the message "You must install Flash", when in fact all I need to do is tell NoScript to enable Javascript. The link you provided is great for some, but this particular scenario just doesn't fit because of the many peculiarities of reported failures. What I was trying to say about the information I've gone in and looked at permissions on the registry keys with both installations, and it's clear Adobe's install sets up registry key permissions for just one user.

Flash Player Not Working Windows 10 I even ran the util file in the macromed folder under the system32 folder. Google Chrome In the resulting dialog scroll down until you see Active Scripting: Make sure that Active Scripting is set to Enable.

You will laugh again Eidnolb, but I am a Software developer and System Administrator as well.

These days, Web sites are built in Flash, and individuals need to have Flash Player installed on their computers to render Web sites. So I ran the Adobe clean uninstall again, and then tried to install from my wifes log in. I can no longer access the flash games as my user , but still can in the wife's. http://yeahimadork.com/flash-player/flash-player-doesn-t-work-in-ie10-on-windows-8.php How to Convert MP4 to MP3 MP4 has emerged as the most commonly accepted multimedia standard on the Internet.

We are both admins and both have all teh same rights everywhere. I have IE 9 and am using Windows 7. What most sites don't tell you is that yes, you need Flash installed, but you also need JavaScript enabled.

Don't know what actually helped but deleting the history fixed the problem in the end. One thing mentioned time and time again is to remove superceded instances of the software, paying particular attention to "Details" should there be files needed to be removed manually, or which Reply Larry Z April 13, 2013 at 9:58 am In other posts, they mention the compatability view as a possible solution. by Dafydd Forum moderator / November 16, 2015 4:04 PM PST In reply to: Again thank all who are responding will remove any addons you may have had.

The only thing I didn't do was delete the adobe folder because I have photoshop and of course it uses the same folder. I guess it's like they say the mechanics car is the one with the problems. :-) When I set up the PC I put my wife and I both an account Preview post Submit post Cancel post You are reporting the following post: Adobe Flash Player will not work on my Internet Explorer 11 This post has been flagged and will be http://yeahimadork.com/flash-player/flash-player.php Then you logged in how?

This compromises intended security. After "retiring" in 2001, Leo started Ask Leo! This is clearly stated here:http://go.adobe.com/kb/ts_tn_19166_en-us This is the Adobe Troubleshooting guide and explains reasons why an Install of FlashPlayer may have failed. Reformatting sure seems like overkill for a problem like this. Reformatting's a pretty major step, and not something I'd recommend without investigating things deeply.

To do more you'd need to share what browser you use, what version of Windows and so on. Allow Plug-ins Safari > Preferences > Security Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins" Enable it. You can not post a blank message. Re: Flash player will only work for one user on the PC SAN-75 Mar 4, 2010 3:51 PM (in response to eidnolb onlyone) Absolutely the same problem.
