This seemed to fix my biggest problem of late. If somebody is able to fix it permanently please let everyone know... (the cache deleting works for a limited time only...) Huge difference. type "chrome:settings" in the address bar, click Advanced Settings, then uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available" under the System header. Check the dev threads on google chrome, you will see the issue has been ongoing for well over 6mths and is affecting cross-platforms too. This tweak might help, and it's not the one you think.

If you are unable to abide by this simple request, or if your only submissions are to the same sites over and over, or to your personal site(s), you will be if you don't have an SSD you might see that chrome is a lot snappier.
