Hope I was helpful. Disabling the DVD drive (I rarely use it) fixed the blinking. After pressing the power button again it starts to boot like normal and it keeps working for a while. Then I would switch it off from main power and start it again, so it would run upto the windows XP startup screen(where loading bar comes into picture) and suddenly it It was the Broadcom Card-Reader service. Also did chkdsk to fix and recover and there were a few item in C:. The motherboard is an ASUS M5A97, the PSU is a Corsair GS800 and the CPU is an AMD six-core processor and I don't know its exact model number. here

  4. When it does not boot you can't turn it off with button but if I shut it off with power supply switch and retry it will eventually turn on.
